PLANT ERECTION AND COMMISSIONING
Volekzy Integrated Nigeria Limited has unique competencies in plant erection and commissioning works with a focus on the installation of modular units. In Nigeria, our personnel has supervised installation, piping, electrical, and commissioning works for modular refinery trains, flow station construction projects, gas plant projects, and plant utility projects. These plants were erected with zero LTI and within the agreed schedule, to drawing and specification. ... We also have personnel who are trained in heavy lifts and have supervised heavy lifting operations offshore and onshore. We have a team of electrical, instrumentation, automation, and control engineers and technicians with a combined experience of over 78 years in the oil and gas industry. Our team members have over the years participated in major oil and gas projects such as Akpo FPSO project, Afam Power Plant Project, Egina FPSO Project, Ongoing NLG Train 7 Project, etc. We have all the necessary capabilities in cable pulling, termination works, LV panel building, MV Switchgear installation and commissioning, synchronization of power plants, etc. We also have foreign support partners who can assist with testing, and commissioning of Medium Voltage power systems as well as synchronization of power plants when necessary.
Corrosion Control and Management
We are a highly competent company in corrosion control and management.
Our corrosion control operations are carried out following the below listed strategy:

- Inspection: We carry out external and internal inspection of the process members proposed for corrosion control consideration.
External inspection is done via visual examination of the members by our competent personnel.
Internal inspection is done via ultrasonic thickness gauging. Following the inspection exercise, reports are made available to the client.
- Evaluation: This entails preparation of the most suitable corrosion control approach in terms of:
surface preparation (HPWJ – hydroblasting, sandblasting, hard wire brushing etc), equipment and personnel requirements
(training and certification), material requirements, project scheduling and project execution planning, Scaffolding requirements, Rope access requirements,
EHS and SIMOPS considerations, Clients’ requirements etc .
- Procurement and Training: This involves procurement of all needed materials, specialised equipment (if required),
training of personnel on site specific considerations (PTW procedure etc), arrangement of all necessary logistics for experts where required etc.
- Mobilization and Project Execution: This involves personnel mobilization and project execution
- Job Completion and Corrosion Management Recommendations: This involves preparation of a job completion report as well as corrosion management plan and control recommendations for the facility.
All needed materials, equipment and personnel are readily available.
Scaffolding
Volekzy Integrated Nigeria limited can deploy over 1,000 scaffold sets with over 40 certified scaffolders with experience offshore and onshore to support our clients’ construction or maintenance activities. Our staff is trained on industry best practices, safety consideration (lock-out, scaffold load rating, etc), and following Volekzy’s construction management procedure. We also carry out routine inspections on our scaffold materials to ensure that they are safe when deployed for clients' use.
